ST KIZITO CLINIC

Located at 55 Jakande Housing Estate, Ilasan off Lekki Epe Expressway, St Kizito Clinic, a Primary Health care centre, started in 1991 as a charitable effort to provide clinical and basic health care services to the poor of the slum community of Ilasan. They have since included a 24 hour maternity home focused on professional and skilled care of women and newborns. IKOTA PRIMARY SCHOOL, AJAH

Book Donation Project for Learning & Growth (Feb 2019) – As part of an initiative to drive Learning and Development among our less privileged children in the community, AWC early in 2019 donated new and used books to over 400 students of the Ikota Primary school in Ajah. The Books cut across all topical fiction and non fiction categories for age groups 4-12 years. The objective was to encourage the art of reading, exploration and adventure. DREAMS FROM THE SLUM

Dreams from the Slum is an initiative committed to making dreams a reality for vulnerable people living in remote and desolate communities. Through Education, Empowerment and mentorship, DFTS’ reaches out primarily to children, young mothers and rural women.

It started as a small program to celebrate founder Isaac Success’ 22nd Birthday by reaching out to 22 children with school fees, school supplies and food. After almost a decade, DFTS has morphed into an Organization whose work has benefited over 20,000 people through ‘My Dream Stead School, Young Mother’s Academy and Ajegunle Food Bank’ to name a few of their programs.

In January 2023, DFTS became our chosen charity to receive Funds raised from the annual Small World Fundraising event. AWC is proud to partner with this charity..
